How to predict interview questions from the job posting
Interview questions are not random. The hiring manager writes them from the same requirements list you read in the posting – each must-have becomes a "tell me about a time…" question. If you can read the posting, you can predict most of the interview.
Map requirements to question types
Each requirement produces a predictable question: a technical skill → "walk us through how you would…", a soft skill → "tell us about a time when…", a responsibility → "how do you approach…", a company-specific mention → "what would you improve in our product?".
Take the ten strongest requirements and write the question each one implies. That list is usually 70–80% of the real interview.
Prepare one story per question
Use the STAR shape without the jargon: situation in one sentence, what you did in two, the result with a number in one. Pull the stories from your CV – the achievement bullets you wrote while tailoring it are exactly the material.
The three questions everyone gets
- "Why this company / this role?" – one specific, kind observation about their product and how you would measure improving it
- "Tell me about a disagreement with your team" – show you built evidence, shared it, and let the team decide
- "What is your biggest weakness?" – a real one, what you do about it, how it has improved
Let the AI do the mapping
RezuYes reads the posting and your CV and returns ten likely questions, each with what the interviewer is testing and how you should answer using your actual experience. Two questions are free in the preview; the rest unlock with your CV.
