Driver CV example: bullets, skills and summary
A driver CV (or driver resume) must answer the employer's first questions immediately: which licence categories you hold, how clean your record is, which vehicles and routes you know and how reliably you deliver on time. Everything else is secondary.

Tips for this CV
Licence details at the top
List licence categories, Driver CPC, ADR or forklift certificates and tachograph card right under your name or in the summary. This is the first filter.
Mention your record and vehicle types
A clean licence, no accidents and the vehicles you have driven (van, 7.5t, rigid, artic) tell an employer what you can do from day one.
Show reliability with numbers
Drops per day, route length, on-time rate and years without incidents are concrete proof. Use your real figures.

FAQ
What should a delivery driver CV include?
Licence and certificates, years of driving, vehicle types, typical route and drop numbers, customer service and availability. Keep it to one page.
Should I list penalty points on my driver resume?
You do not need to list them, but do not claim a clean licence if it is not. Employers check, and honesty matters for insurance.
Do drivers need a personal statement?
A short two-line summary is enough: licence categories, experience and the type of work you want.
