Terms of Service

Last updated: · Wersja polska (wiążąca)

These Terms govern the provision of electronic services and the sale of digital content on RezuYes (formerly Rezumator). They are the terms required by Art. 8 of the Polish Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means of 18 July 2002. The Polish version (Regulamin) is binding; this English version is provided for convenience.

1. Definitions

  1. Provider (also Seller) – the business identified in section 2.
  2. Service – the RezuYes website at rezuyes.online and its subpages.
  3. User – any natural or legal person using the Service.
  4. Consumer – a User who is a consumer within the meaning of Art. 221 of the Polish Civil Code (a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade or profession).
  5. Sole trader with consumer rights – a natural person concluding a contract directly related to their business where the contract is not of a professional nature for them (Art. 38a of the Polish Consumer Rights Act); the Consumer provisions on withdrawal, conformity of digital content and unfair terms apply to them.
  6. Digital Content – data produced and supplied in digital form: the CV as a PDF, LinkedIn profile copy (in the Service and as a PDF), interview questions with tips and any other content generated for the User.
  7. Preview – the free, partly masked version of the Digital Content described in section 5.
  8. Correction – a free, once-per-CV AI rewrite based on the User's instructions.
  9. Package – the paid "One shot" package, "5 attempts" package or Upgrade described in section 7.
  10. AI Model – the artificial-intelligence language model supplied by a third party (Anthropic PBC) which the Service uses to generate content.
  11. Consumer Rights Act – the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014 (ustawa o prawach konsumenta).

2. Provider

The Service is operated by [UZUPEŁNIJ: imię i nazwisko], a sole trader registered in Poland in the Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG) under the business name [UZUPEŁNIJ: firma (nazwa działalności z CEIDG)], [UZUPEŁNIJ: adres (ulica, kod pocztowy, miasto)], Poland, tax ID (NIP) [UZUPEŁNIJ: NIP], VAT ID PL[UZUPEŁNIJ: NIP], REGON [UZUPEŁNIJ: REGON], registered for VAT.

Contact: [UZUPEŁNIJ: e-mail kontaktowy]. Please use this address for questions, complaints and data-protection requests.

3. Electronic services and technical requirements

  1. The Provider offers the following electronic services: (a) a form for entering your information and generating a Preview of a CV, LinkedIn copy and interview questions; (b) the Correction; (c) reading text from an uploaded CV file (.pdf, .docx; .txt and .md files are read in your browser) – the text is extracted and returned to the form, and the file itself is not stored; (d) the sale and delivery of Digital Content in Packages; (e) choosing a CV design and browsing the template gallery.
  2. You need: a device with internet access; an up-to-date browser (e.g. Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) with JavaScript and local storage (localStorage) enabled; for a purchase, a working e-mail address; a PDF reader to open the files.
  3. You must not provide unlawful content, in particular content infringing third-party rights, personal data of other people without a legal basis, or offensive or misleading content.
  4. The contract for the free services (a)–(c) and (e) is concluded when you start using the feature and ends when you stop using it. You may stop using the Service at any time without giving reasons. The Provider may refuse service to a User who breaches section 14 and will inform them where possible.
  5. Specific risks of using electronic services include malware, phishing (e.g. fake messages impersonating the Service or the payment provider) and interception of data on insecure networks. The Service is served only over encrypted HTTPS, and the Provider never asks for card details outside the Stripe payment page. Keep your browser updated and be careful with links in unexpected messages.

4. No account needed

  1. The Service does not require an account or login.
  2. Access to generated content relies on random identifiers and access tokens. Your browser keeps, in local storage, the history of your CVs, access tokens for paid CVs, your "5 attempts" pass, the chosen design and a draft of the form. Clearing browser data or switching devices removes them from that device.
  3. After a purchase you receive an e-mail with the files and a permanent link to download the paid CV. If you lose your "5 attempts" pass, write to us from the e-mail address used for the purchase and we will restore access.

5. Free preview and correction

  1. After you enter your information, the Service generates content with the AI Model and shows a Preview. Before payment your browser only receives a version masked on the server: your name, job titles, employers, dates, education, languages and excerpts (such as the start of the summary, the first achievement, a few skills and two interview questions) are visible, and the rest is replaced with placeholder text. The masked content cannot be recovered from the Preview.
  2. Free Previews are limited to 5 per day per network (identified by a salted hash of the IP address, see the Privacy Policy). The Provider may also use a bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile). The limit prevents abuse.
  3. For every CV you may use one free Correction: describe what to change and the AI Model rewrites the CV. A Correction counts toward the daily limit in point 2. A Correction that fails is not counted as used.
  4. A Preview or Correction does not oblige you to buy anything. If the form is empty, the Service shows a sample demo CV.

6. Prices

  1. All prices are gross (they include VAT where due). The currency depends on your country: PLN in Poland, GBP in the United Kingdom, USD in selected countries outside Europe and EUR elsewhere. The price is shown when you choose a Package, on the payment button and on the Stripe payment page – always before you place the order.
  2. Current prices:
CurrencyOne shot5 attemptsUpgrade One shot → 5 attempts
EUR€4.90€7.90€3.00
USD$4.99$7.99$3.00
GBP£3.99£6.49£2.50
PLN13.99 PLN19.99 PLN6 PLN
  1. The Provider charges no extra fees for payment or delivery. Currency-conversion costs or fees charged by your bank or card issuer are outside the Provider's control.
  2. Prices are not personalised on the basis of automated decision-making; they differ only by currency, which depends on your country.
  3. When a price is reduced, the Provider also shows the lowest price of that Package in the 30 days before the reduction (Art. 6a of Directive 98/6/EC as amended by the Omnibus Directive (EU) 2019/2161; Art. 4(2) of the Polish Act on Price Information).
  4. Price changes do not affect orders paid before the change.

7. Packages

  1. "One shot" – unlocks the full content of one generated CV: the CV as a PDF in the chosen design, the LinkedIn copy and all interview questions (where generated in the selected scope), plus delivery of the files by e-mail.
  2. "5 attempts" – everything in "One shot" for the current CV plus 5 further full generations (e.g. for other job offers), each unlocked and downloadable immediately. A generation is only counted once it completes successfully. Unused generations do not expire.
  3. Upgrade – a User who bought "One shot" can extend it to "5 attempts" for the Upgrade price.
  4. All Packages are one-off payments. There is no subscription, your card is not stored for later charges and nothing renews automatically.

8. Ordering and payment

  1. To order you: (1) generate a Preview; (2) choose to unlock it and pick a Package; (3) enter your e-mail and, optionally, invoice details; (4) accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy and give the consent in section 10; (5) click "Pay …" (an order with an obligation to pay), which takes you to Stripe Checkout; (6) choose a payment method and pay.
  2. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited (Ireland). Available methods depend on the currency and device and include cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, BLIK and Przelewy24 (PLN), iDEAL and Bancontact (EUR). The Provider never sees your full card details.
  3. The contract for the Digital Content is concluded when Stripe confirms the payment. Payment is one-off and taken in advance.
  4. VAT invoices. Invoices are issued on request: tick "I need an invoice" and enter your tax ID, company name and address when ordering. For orders from Poland (PLN) the invoice is issued automatically in inFakt and e-mailed separately. Customers outside Poland who need an invoice can request one at [UZUPEŁNIJ: e-mail kontaktowy]. A missing invoice never delays delivery.

9. Delivery of the digital content

  1. Immediately after the payment is confirmed the content is unlocked in your browser (PDF download) and an e-mail is sent to you with the CV as a PDF, the LinkedIn copy as a PDF (if generated) and a link to download it again. The PDFs are produced only after payment, on the server, from the full content.
  2. If the e-mail does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder and then contact the Provider.
  3. The download link for a paid CV works for at least 12 months after the purchase. We recommend saving the files on your own device.

10. Right of withdrawal – digital content

  1. A Consumer (and a sole trader with consumer rights) normally has 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving reasons.
  2. Under Art. 38(1)(13) of the Consumer Rights Act (Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU) this right does not apply to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if performance has begun with the Consumer's prior express consent and their acknowledgement, given before performance began, that they lose the right of withdrawal once the content is supplied.
  3. Before paying you tick a box by which you request immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once it is delivered. Without this consent the order cannot be placed. The time of the consent is recorded, and a confirmation of it (with the date) is sent in the e-mail with your content, i.e. on a durable medium.
  4. Business customers other than sole traders with consumer rights have no right of withdrawal.
  5. This does not limit your rights if the digital content does not conform to the contract (section 11).

11. Complaints and conformity of the digital content

  1. Towards Consumers and sole traders with consumer rights the Provider is liable for the conformity of the Digital Content with the contract under Chapter 5b of the Consumer Rights Act (Arts. 43h–43q, implementing Directive (EU) 2019/770). If it does not conform, you may require it to be brought into conformity and, under the statutory conditions, a price reduction or termination of the contract.
  2. The Digital Content is described as generated automatically by the AI Model from your information and intended to be reviewed and, where needed, edited by you before use (section 15).
  3. Complaints (about the Digital Content or the electronic services) can be sent to [UZUPEŁNIJ: e-mail kontaktowy]. Please include the e-mail used for the order, the order date, a description of the problem and what you would like us to do.
  4. The Provider replies by e-mail within 14 days of receiving the complaint. If a Consumer receives no reply within that time, the complaint is deemed accepted (Art. 7a of the Consumer Rights Act).
  5. A generation that fails for technical reasons does not use up the Correction or a "5 attempts" generation.

12. Out-of-court dispute resolution

  1. Consumers may use out-of-court complaint and redress procedures, in particular: the municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów); mediation or the permanent consumer arbitration court at the regional Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa); consumer organisations such as Federacja Konsumentów.
  2. Information and the register of authorised bodies: UOKiK – out-of-court consumer dispute resolution and prawakonsumenta.uokik.gov.pl. For cross-border disputes within the EU, the European Consumer Centre Poland can help: konsument.gov.pl; for other countries see the ECC-Net.
  3. The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) was closed on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228; disputes can be brought through the bodies listed above.
  4. Using out-of-court procedures is voluntary. When replying to a complaint the Provider will say whether it agrees to take part in such a procedure.

13. Quality – no guarantee of employment

  1. The Service helps you prepare application documents. The Provider does not guarantee interviews, employment or passing applicant tracking systems (ATS) – hiring decisions are made by employers.
  2. The job-match score and the tips are estimates for information only.
  3. The Provider aims to keep the Service available, but technical breaks or outages of third-party services (hosting, the AI Model, payments, e-mail) may occur.

14. Your obligations

  1. Provide truthful information about yourself (or about a person on whose behalf you act with their permission).
  2. You confirm you are entitled to use the content and the photo you upload (in particular that the photo shows you, or that you have the depicted person's consent and the right to use the photo).
  3. Do not enter special-category data (e.g. about health, religion or political opinions) or other people's data unless it is necessary.
  4. Do not circumvent the limits, the Preview masking or the payment, scrape the Service, load it in a way that disrupts it, or use it to create false or misleading documents.

15. AI-generated content

  1. The content in the Service is generated by artificial intelligence (the AI Model supplied by Anthropic) from the information you provide. We disclose this in the Service, in the delivery e-mail and in these Terms (transparency under Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, the AI Act).
  2. The AI Model can make mistakes: it may misstate facts, dates, figures or names or phrase things inaccurately. You must read and check the content before sending it to an employer or publishing it. You are responsible for the final content of the document you send.
  3. Each generated CV includes, at the bottom, a GDPR consent clause for the processing of personal data in recruitment, in the CV's language. Check that it meets the requirements of the particular employer (e.g. consent to future recruitment).
  4. The Service makes no decisions about you that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect you.

16. Intellectual property and licence

  1. The Service, its code, CV designs, texts, logo and the RezuYes name are protected and belong to the Provider or are used by it under licence.
  2. To the extent the Provider holds any rights in the Digital Content generated for you (including the design as used in your CV), the Provider grants you, on delivery, a non-exclusive licence unlimited in time and territory to use it for your own purposes – in particular to copy, edit, send it to employers and publish it (e.g. on LinkedIn). The licence does not cover reselling the designs as a product. The Provider claims no rights in the content you enter.
  3. AI-generated content may not qualify as a copyright work.
  4. You grant the Provider a non-exclusive, free licence to the content and photo you provide, only to the extent needed to provide the services (processing, generating, storing and delivering the content).

17. Liability

  1. Towards Consumers and sole traders with consumer rights the Provider is liable under the general rules; nothing in these Terms excludes or limits their rights under mandatory law.
  2. Towards other business customers the Provider's liability is limited to the amount paid for the Package concerned and excludes lost profits; this limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally.
  3. The Provider is not liable for the consequences of using content you did not check despite section 15(2), or for employers' decisions.

18. Changes to these Terms

  1. The Provider may change these Terms for valid reasons: changes in the law, changes in the scope or way the services are provided, a change of service providers, or security.
  2. Amended Terms are published in the Service at least 14 days before they take effect, with the effective date. Orders placed before a change are governed by the Terms in force when the order was placed. If you do not accept the changes, you may stop using the Service.

19. Governing law and final provisions

  1. These Terms are governed by Polish law. This choice does not deprive a Consumer of the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of habitual residence (Art. 6 of the Rome I Regulation).
  2. Disputes with Consumers go to the courts competent under the general rules; disputes with other business customers go to the court competent for the Provider's registered address.
  3. How we handle personal data: Privacy Policy. Current prices: Pricing.
  4. These Terms are available free of charge at rezuyes.online/terms in a form that allows them to be downloaded, stored and printed. If the Polish and English versions differ, the Polish version prevails.
